cromford gardens
Our Open Gardens this year feature many new additions - plus the welcome addition of pop-up buskers, and our local friendly organ grinder on Scarthin. If you've worked your way round the gardens, or just fancy a rest and some entertainment there will be activities on Scarthin promenade as well as our art, poetry & photo exhibition in the Methodist Church Hall. There are many refreshment opportunities too - easiest way to find them is by picking up a Celebrating Cromford programme.
Where do I get a programme? Where do I get an Open Garden ticket?
These are both available on the Celebrating Cromford staff which will be manned from 10-5'ish on Sat Jun 21 and Sun Jun 22. The stall is on Scarthin promenade & should be easily recognisable...if in doubt just ask. You can also get programmes for the festival in advance from the Post Office & Arkwright's stores.
The 'ticket' for the Open Gardens are £3 per adult and consist of a map, a brief description of each garden including ease of access (or not) and some lovely artwork....(the cover is the picture above).
Please remember to allow time for parking (Cromford Madows is the recommended spot) and walking into the village.
