[full report below]
It has been a wonderful year for pallets. Thank you so much for your creativity and all your efforts. What a wonderful display of colours we now have in Cromford. Well done to you all!
Now... to the judging part. Our judges, Diane and Chris of the Lea, Dethick, Holloway Horticultural Society came on Saturday 9th July and admired every single pallet. They weren't sure what to expect and were amazed at the variety of theme, the variety of plants and how well established they were. After much deliberation, we do have their winners.... and of course, Dave and I also counted the public vote.

Please do keep your pallet and, if possible, keep the display going over the Summer. They're so beautiful and embellish Cromford. We've left some Pallet leaflets in the Post-Office and Arkwright Stores so people can still do the pallet trail even though voting is now closed.
Let us know what you think for next year... Should we have a pallet display again or take a year off? Should it be a competition or you would be happy if it was just a display?
