Sponsorship is available for ALL Celebrating Cromford events. Our events are publicised by posters around the village, in the Cromford community newsletter, flyers and also on Twitter and FaceBook. Celebrating Cromford is regularly featured on BBC Radio Derby, the Derby Evening Telegraph, Derbyshire Life, and the Matlock Mercury. We are part of the Derbyshire Festival association.
Profits from Celebrating Cromford events go to local organisations such as Cromford Primary School, Playgroup, Cromford Community Centre, local Donkey Sanctuary and other worthwhile causes. Please contact us if you want further info.

Our marquee was brand new in 2014. The marquee measures 14m x 7m. Prices includes a team of people who will erect it and dismantle it (Peak District area preferred). Our rates are very reasonable, and we offer discounted rates for local good causes and charities.

What is Celebrating Cromford all about?
"Events through the year in Cromford for all the family to have fun & benefit the community"
Celebrating Cromford has been in existence in its present form since 2004, a village wakes/carnival/celebration event can be traced back to Arkwright's time. Some of the old programmes from previous decades can be viewed here.
The objective of Celebrating Cromford is simply to Celebrate Cromford, the people who live here, and the beautiful and historic place in which we live - and have fun whilst we do it!
We are a not-for-profit group, run by people who live in the community.
We have a written constitution, an elected committee and a dedicated bank account.
Many local businesses help us by providing prizes, placing adverts in the festival programme. From time to time, some of them make donations to our funds. Generally we aim to be self-supporting and aim NOT to keep asking people to put their hands in their pockets and get nothing in return. We now run a Lucky Numbers 200 club scheme to raise funds whilst providing prizes to the member.
Any profits we do make are used to either fund more events or to support local good causes. Recently we have made donations to Cromford Primary School, Derwent Donkey Trust, Cromford Community Centre, Cromford Brownies & to assist Cromford Marketeers with their Christmas event.
The majority of the events at Celebrating Cromford are FREE - but if you do wish to make a donation
you can do so safely via PAYPAL here
