- Some of the advertisers in the earliest programmes with adverts (1950) are still placing adverts in the current programmes - for example, Cromford Cafe, Tor Cafe, the Pidcock Bros., The Boat Inn, The Bell Inn
- The United Service still takes place as part of Celebrating Cromford every year, although perhaps not as well attended as previously. Maybe if Community Singing was re-introduced...
- The tradition of live music continues to this day - nowadays a much wider variety
- The events were always run to fund good causes, and this remains an aspiration for the present committee - however our main objective is to keep Celebrating Cromford a FREE event throughout the year & all funds raised go to this end.
